Maranatha offers a comprehensive selection of courses to students in high school (grades 9-12). These courses follow the basic course requirements as set by the Pennsylvania Department of Education. Maranatha requires students to take certain courses in addition to the state requirements.
The requirements for graduation are:
~ Students must have a minimum of twenty-four (24) credits for graduation.
~ Students entering MCS as freshmen must earn the following credits in order to
graduate:
- Bible - 2 credits
- English - 4 credits
- Social Studies - 4 credits
- Mathematics - 3 credits
- Science - 3 credits
- Physical Educaton - 2 credits
- Spanish - 1 credit
- Chorus - 1 credit
- Keyboarding - 1 credit
- Health - 1/2 credit
- Public Speaking - 1/2 credit
- Other Electives - 2 credits
